Young right winger happy at Sao Paulo, claims agent.
The agent of Manchester United target Lucas Moura has said there is ‘no possibility’ that the youngster will leave Sao Paulo this summer.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted yesterday that he was attempting to negotiate a deal for the 19-year-old but Wagner Ribeiro says any move is now off.
Sao Paulo’s £30 million asking price is thought to be too high for United – with the Old Trafford club unwilling to go higher than £26 million for the Brazilian.
Lucas is currently in London with the Brazilian Olympic squad preparing for the Games and United had hoped to complete a deal in the next fortnight.
But Ribeiro confirmed that the Red Devils’ latest offer had been rejected and it was now unlikely that Lucas would leave Brazil in the near future.
“They [Manchester United] have reached their limit,” Ribeiro told Brazilian website UOL.
“Lucas Moura won’t leave. He is happy at Sao Paulo. We have to forget this subject. There is no possibility he leaves now.
“Manchester United made an offer, which was rejected and they won’t make another one as they have reached their limit.”
