Rossoneri want to re-sign Brazilian but avoid a hefty transfer fee.
AC Milan are hoping to re-sign Kaka from Real Madrid on a one-year loan deal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Brazilian looks set to end his unhappy spell in Spain this summer and was left out of Real’s opening pre-season friendly match with Oviedo.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani hinted to fans that a move to bring the 30-year-old back to the San Siro could be on the cards, before confirming that talks have already taken place.
But Milan can only afford Kaka with Real’s help and they are only willing to offer the playmaker £3.8 million rather than the £7 million he currently earns at the Bernebeu.
The Rossoneri also hope that Madrid boss Jose Mourinho and president Florentino Perez will allow Kaka to return on a one-year loan deal as the Italians cannot get close to his £20 million asking-price.
Galliani is expected to arrange a meeting with Perez next week to attempt to thrash out a deal.
The La Liga Champions are eager to offload Kaka to make way for Tottenham schemer Luka Modric but are thought to be unwilling to supplement half the midfield maestro’s wages if he does join return to Italy.
