Spaniards eye loan deal for enforcer.
Sevilla are closing in on the signing of Arsenal and Chelsea target Steven N’Zonzi.
The La Liga giants are set to sign the Frenchman on a season-long loan deal from Blackburn, reports the Daily Mail.
N’Zonzi is one of a host of players who have demanded to leave Ewood Park this summer following the Lancashire club’s relegation.
Chelsea and Arsenal have both been linked with a surprise move for the 23-year-old but neither club is willing to meet Rovers’ £10 million valuation of the midfield enforcer.
Blackburn are ready to accept a the La Liga club’s loan offer however, on the condition that they pay N’Zonzi’s wages.
N’Znonzi was linked with a number of clubs in January, including Tottenham, Stoke and Sunderland, but chose to stay and help Blackburn fight relegation.
But the Frenchman reportedly fell out with boss Steve Kean towards the end of last season and wants to leave the club.
Blackburn have already lost Yakubu and Junior Hoillet this summer, while Martin Olsson has also announced that he will not play in the Championship.
