Loftus Road midfielder not making temporary move.
QPR insist they have no intention of letting midfielder Joey Barton join npower League Two newcomers Fleetwood Town on loan.
The 29-year-old will miss the opening 12 Premier League matches after he was sent off on the final day of last season at Manchester City and was later found guilty of two counts of violent conduct by the Football Association.

Of course it would be fairly hilarious if Joey Barton did roll up to Fleetwood Town given that just two months earlier the QPR man had stated via his Twitter account that he was good enough to make Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad, but it seems that the reports breaking yesterday are someway wide of the mark.
Barton had been training with Fleetwood Town and some were of the impression that the midfielder may join the League Two side so that his 12 match ban ran down more quickly than whilst at a Premier League side, a loophole that would surely be closed by the FA.
It will be interesting to see how Barton gets on when his ban is complete given that Mark Hughes has brought in a myriad of quality signings. The 29 year old’s future may well depend greatly on how QPR get on in the opening months of the season without the banned midfielder.
