Lucas Moura Confirms Man United Snub as Brazilian Enters Talks With PSG

Ligue 1 giants set to beat United to Brazilian wonder kid.

Manchester United target Lucas Moura has confirmed that he could leave Sao Paulo – but to join mega-rich French outfit PSG.

The 19-year-old winger has been linked with United throughout the summer and was reportedly the subject of a £27.5 million bid from the Premier League runners-up.

But Sao Paulo are demanding in excess of £30 million for the youngster, which United are unwilling to meet leaving the insanely rich Ligue 1 outfit in pole position for Lucas.

And the youngster, who is currently in London preparing for Brazil’s Gold Medal match at the Olympics, has admitted that he could join the Parisiens in the January transfer window.

“I talked to Thiago Silva and Leonardo, they said many good things about the club, the project they are implementing there. Talks are well under way, but not done yet,” Lucas stated to Globo Esporte.

“I will stay at Sao Paulo until the end of the year. I have always said that I want to win a title and qualify for the Copa Libertadores before leaving.

“If the transfer happens in January, I’ll be able to do that for Sao Paulo. For now, I’m focused on the national team, though. I can only say something after the Olympics.”

PSG are allowed just non-EU players in their squad but are hopeful that Milan Bisevas will receive dual nationality shortly, freeing up space for Lucas in January.
