Liverpool’s Daniel Agger Admits Barcelona Move Would Be ‘Great’

Dane reveals Nou Camp attraction.

Defender Daniel Agger has admitted he love to join Barcelona but says he is happy to stay at Liverpool.

The Dane has been linked with a big-money switch to Premier League Champions Man City and Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has said the 27-year-old could be sold for the right price.

Spanish giants Barca are the latest club to express an interest in Agger and the talented stopper has confessed it would be hard to say know to the Catalans, while stressing he is currently happy at Anfield.

“Barcelona would be great,” Agger told the Liverpool Echo. “They have the world’s best football team, so it goes without saying.

“But I think I feel good where I am. I feel comfortable and I feel I have a good seat in the club, where I have influence on the field.

“Liverpool has treated me well as a person. I have always had respect from people round the club and from Liverpool supporters.

“I have always considered it an honour to play for a club like Liverpool, and that feeling has been strengthened by the way people in the town have stayed behind the team and me, even when things haven’t always gone as they would have hoped.”
