Inter Milan Plot Move for Arsenal & Tottenham Pair

San Siro side keen on Emirates Stadium and White Hart Lane duo.

Italian rivals AC Milan and Inter are battling for the signature of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
talkSPORT revealed yesterday that Bendtner, 24, has reiterated his desire to leave Arsenal, and that AC Milan are considering him as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

However, Italian football agent Francesco Di Frisco claims that Inter have emerged as contenders for Bendtner’s signature, although he dampened suggestions that AC will offer defender Philippe Mexes in exchange for the forward.

Inter Milan and Sevilla will go head-to-head in their attempts to sign Tottenham winger Giovani Dos Santos.
Dos Santos, 23, is expected to leave the north London club after failing to make any impact following his move from Barcelona back in June 2008.

The talented youngster is keen to get his career back on track and reports in Mexico state that both Inter Milan and Sevilla are battling to clinch his signature.

Interesting. So a player who doesn’t get near the Arsenal first-team is now wanted by not one, but two Italian giants. How likely is that? Perhaps Nicklas Bendtner has a very very good agent or perhaps such talk is based in an alternate reality where the Danish international is a top level forward?

Inter Milan are going through a fairly lean patch at present and boss Andrea Stramaccioni is clearly looking to the future having allowed veterans Lucio and Diego Forlan leave and though the San Siro side do not have Champions League football to offer and are some way off the Serie A title chasers the Nerazzurri are clearly still a huge club who can confidently approach most players in the knowledge that interest will be garnered.

24 year old Bendtner is not likely to play for Arsenal again and the North London side ma well be looking to offload the big forward on the cheap and perhaps as a back-up option the Dane could be worth a punt, though one would imagine a number of other alternatives would be preferable.

Moves for Giovani dos Santos make more sense. The Mexican international was criminally underused by Harry Redknapp and the pint sized attacker will find out soon enough if Andre Villas-Boas is set to treat him similarly and if he does then expect the former Barcelona man to leave before the month is out.

Incredibly Giovani has made just two Premier League starts since he joined Tottenham four years ago. The 23 year old used the 2012 Olympic games as a good platform to show just what he is capable of and the talented attacker helped his nation to the Gold Medal after some quality performances during the tournament, during which he also scored three goals.
