Laudrup wants speedy resolution of winger’s future.
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup wants contract-rebel Scott Sinclair’s future resolved as quickly as possible.
The 23-year-old winger has just 11 months remaining on his current deal at the Liberty Stadium and has refused to sign a new deal.
Sinclair is wanted by Premier League Champions Man City but came off the bench to score in Swansea’s 5-0 demolition of QPR on Saturday.
City are yet to make a formal bid for the Team GB forward but, with the transfer window closing on 31 August, Laudrup hopes the situation is resolved in time for the Swans to sign a replacement.
“If something has to happen then at least the club has time to react,” said Laudrup to the BBC.
“I don’t know, I have so many experiences with players and clubs with this transfer window. So nothing will surprise me in this world,” continued the Dane.
“We just have to see what happens every day. Every day can be a new day.
“I don’t know and maybe not even Scott knows what will happen.”
