DONE DEAL: Stoke City Agree Deal to Sign Rangers Midfielder Maurice Edu

Ibrox star makes Britannia Stadium switch.

Maurice Edu agrees Stoke move from Rangers

Stoke have agreed terms with Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu and are awaiting international clearance to complete the signing for an undisclosed fee.

Ipswich denied making an offer for him on Monday, but the player has opted to move to the English Premier League.
The transfer is also subject to Edu passing a medical over the weekend.

American international Maurice Edu is the latest in a long line of top Rangers talents who have opted to leave the stricken Ibrox Stadium club after their demotion to Scottish League Division Three.

The 26 year old midfielder hasn’t played for Rangers this season and a move had appeared on the cards and Tony Pulis has won the race to snap up the Californian who has been at the Glasgow club for four years.

Edu has been a regular for the past two seasons and has notched up 125 appearances for Rangers, helping them three SPL title in the process.

Maurice Edu is the second Rangers player signed by the Potters this summer with youngster Jamie Ness moving to the Britannia Stadium earlier this summer.
