Blackburn Rovers Agree Personal Terms With Huddersfield Town Striker Jordan Rhodes

Ewood Park side close in on Terriers hotshot.

Sky Sports understands Blackburn Rovers are set to revive their interest in Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes.

The 22-year-old Scottish international is one of the hottest properties outside the Premier League, but Huddersfield had been standing firm on their desire to keep him.

Blackburn want their man in place by Friday and they appear confident this final offer could be enough to land their man.

At the weekend, Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson had suggested it would take an offer in the region of £8million to land Rhodes.

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is keen to land Huddersfield Town goal machine Jordan Rhodes and it appears that the Ewood Park side is closing in on the Scottish international.

Having suffered relegation to the second tier Kean is looking to land a goalscorer who can help take his Blackburn Rovers side straight back to the Premier League and Rhodes may well be the man for the job.

The 22 year old netted an astonishing 40 goals in 41 starts last term and has shown he is able to continue that form in the Championship with goals in his first two games of the current campaign.

If Rovers up their offer to the apparent required £8m asking price then Rhodes may well get his wish and a move to Blackburn Rovers.

One does wonder why a side in the Premier League haven’t, as yet, registered a significant bid for the former Ipswich Town youngster.
