Carlo Ancelotti lands Dutch international.
Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Gregory van der Wiel from Ajax on a four-year deal.
A statement on PSG’s official website read: “Gregory Van Der Wiel, 24 years old, an international player from Holland, has been transferred from Ajax by Paris Saint-Germain, for a duration of four years.”

Gregory van der Wiel is the latest in a long run of big name signings Carlo Ancelotti has brought in since he took over at the Parc des Princes just less than a year ago.
With PSG sitting in eighth place, though still undefeated, after four matches the Italian may have felt the need to bring in one last summer signing to help boost his squad.
The 24 year old Dutch international joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Marco Verratti, taking the Ligue 1 side’s summer spending up to around £120m.
Van der Wiel had been linked with a move to Chelsea where he could have been seen as a potential option to fill the right-back void that was eventually filled by Casar Azpilicueta.
