The Moroccan hasn’t exactly set the world alight since joining the Gunners from Bordeaux in 2010, managing just 8 goals in 44 games. Last season he struggled for first-team football, appearing just 11 times in the League for Arsene Wenger’s side and – following the arrival of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud – it is unlikely Wenger will be turning to Chamakh much this season, even after Robin Van Persie’s departure.
