Galatasary Boss Admits The Club Are Trying To Sign Real Madrid Star Kaka

Turks keen on Brazilian superstar.

Galatasary coach Faith Terim has admitted he would love to sign unwanted Real Madrid playmaker Kaka, reports insidefutbol.

The 30-year-old, once named World Player of the Year, has been told he can leave the Bernabeu but failed to secure a dream move back to his former club Milan this summer.

Los Blancos demanded £15.8m for Kaka, with Milan only willing to sanction a loan move, while the player is believed to be on s salary of around £6m per year.

Real coach Jose Mourinho has said Kaka will receive limited playing time this season, while the player has confessed the only reason he is still in Madrid is because no official offers were accepted.

But Terim has opened the door on a surprise switch to Turkey but says Kaka will have to take a substantial pay cut in order to make the move.

“Kaka is a player that I will always have an interest in because he is a great player”, Terim, who has coached Serie A outfits Fiorentina and Milan.

“Kaka would be a perfect player for Galatasaray and, indeed, I told my president just that. He believes the same and is looking at the signing.”

But Terim is in no doubt that, for any move to happen, sacrifices must be made.

“He has a major contract. The last word is his.”
