Berardi is part of the Italian Under 19 international set-up and has netted for the Modena side this term.

Sir Alex Ferguson has made something of a habit of luring talented youngsters to the club in recent seasons, adopting a more cost effective approach to squad building, with some obvious exceptions.

The Scot has brought in the likes of Javier Hernandez, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and David de Gea and seen them make an instant impact in the Man United first team set-up. More recently Ferguson has snapped up promising talents Nick Powell and Angelo Henriquez.
