Manchester United are keeping tabs on Marouane Fellaini’s situation at Everton.
But David Moyes has warned the Belgian that the Blues are in a position of power when it comes to the player’s future.
Toffees boss Moyes tore into Fellaini on his return from international duty after the powerful midfielder was quoted as saying that he would spend just another year at Goodison.

Sir Alex Ferguson has long been linked with a move for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini and the Scot will have of course noted the comments from the Belgian in relation to his desire to leave Goodison Park and a bid could well be forthcoming.
The Man United boss has been linked with a number of midfield targets over the summer and he got close to securing Brazilian Lucas Moura before the teenager was snapped up big spending PSG.
Ferguson may feel his side could do with a goal-scoring midfield option as the likes of Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Anderson and Darren Fletcher are not renowned for this forward movement.
Indeed the Everton man has saved some of his best Toffees performances for encounters with Man United, scoring three times against Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
Fellaini has made 140 appearances for Everton since his £15m move from Standard Liege in the summer of 2008, scoring 22 goals in the process.
