Man United Set Sights On Top Notch La Liga Playmaker Sofiane Feghouli

Old Trafford side keen on Valencia youngster.

Liberte today report that Man United are keen on Valencia playmaker Sofiane Feghouli.

The 23 year old is in his third season at the La Liga side and has garnered a lot of attention with his consistent displays for the Mestalla outfit and boss Mauricio Pellegrino may be concerned that the Algerian international could be the latest talent to leave Valencia for a shot at the big time.

Feghouli moved to Spain in the summer of 2010 and was loaned out to Almeria before making a real impact last term, making 49 appearances and helping Valencia to a top three finish and the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The former French Under 21 international opted to represent Algeria at international level and is a player most often used in an attacking midfield role and may be a player Sir Alex Ferguson looks to bring in to add more creativity to his midfield, the former Grenoble man also plies his trade on the wing.

Indeed a move to sign Feghouli may well be chastened if Ferguson opts to sell Portuguese international Nani, who is still in lengthy talks over a new contract and has been consistently linked with a move away from Man United with the likes of Zenit and Juventus both apparently interested.
