Ligue 1 big spenders keen on Etihad Stadium forward.
According to Italian source CalcioMercato PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is interested in luring Man City striker Mario Balotelli to the Parc des Princes.
The Italian international has played something of a supporting role at Man City this term and is yet to finish a match and was not named in Roberto Mancini’s squad for their trip the Bernabeu for their Champions League encounter with Real Madrid.
Ancelotti could well do with an effective strike partner to play alongside new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a player PSG appear to be over-relying on. Thus far this season the Swede has scored five of the club’s six Ligue 1 goals and was once again on target during their easy win over Dynamo Kiev.
Balotelli may have been under the impression that he would become a key member of Mancini’s attack after a successful Euro 2012 but it appears that he is still behind Argentine pair Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez in the pecking order. Last term the former Inter Milan man started just 14 Premier League matches and the youngster may feel that a move to PSG could be a viable option if by January he is still playing second or third fiddle at the Etihad.
