Upton Park side keen on Hamburg youngster.
Hamburg forward Heung-Min Son is reportedly a West Ham target according to CalcioMercato.
Upton Park boss Sam Allardyce had a busy summer of transfer activity but may feel that he could do with making a January signing or two to help beef up his squad as he looks to retain West Ham’s spot in the top tier and perhaps hope to push on towards the top half of the table.
Hamburg attacker Heung-Min Son has started the current Bundesliga campaign with a bang, netting three goals in four matches thus far and the 20 year old has begun to attract the attention of a number of Europe’s ‘Elite’.
Heung-Min is into his third season in the Hamburg first team having moved to the Imtech Arena side back in 2008 and last term the adaptable forward, who can play out on the flank or in an orthodox striking role, became a regular in Thorsten Fink’s starting eleven.
Hamburg have lost three of their first Bundesliga matches this season, this despite the return of Dutch playmaker Rafael Van der Vaart, and if there hasn’t been a significant improvement then the Chuncheon born youngster may well consider the possibility of a move to the Merseyside club.
