Emirates Stadium side linked with moves for continental trio.
According to Italian source CalcioMercato Arsenal will re-ignite their interest in Inter Milan playmaker Ricardo Alvarez.
The 24 year old former Velez Sarsfield midfielder has struggled to retain a consistent presence in the Nerazzurri starting eleven since his move to the San Siro 14 months ago and Arsene Wenger has been tracking the Argentine international for the best part of a year and will apparently look to push on with attempts to sign the playmaker.
Ricardo Alvarez may be ready to consider his options as he appears to have moved no nearer to a regular spot in the Inter Milan first team plans under new boss Andrea Stramaccioni than he was with former managers Gian Piero Gasperini and Claudio Ranieri.
Of the 21 Serie A appearances the attacking midfielder made last term, Alvarez only completed a 90 minute run-out twice and thus far this term has not been handed a start.
Wenger may well have a number of creative talents but could see Alvarez as different to those already in his armoury. Ricardo Alvarez is a big rangy box to box performer who likes to get forward. Comfortable on the ball and a player who is arguably not delivering on his obvious potential.
Given injury issues with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby over the past 18 months a move to lure Alvarez to North London may be a wise one to consider.
