Stamford Bridge side to launch Bernabeu raid.
CHELSEA are keeping a close eye on the growing row between Sergio Ramos and Real Madrid, as they prepare a January bid for the defender.
The Spain international has fallen out with the La Liga giants after boss Jose Mourinho dropped him for their Champions League clash against Manchester City on Tuesday.
And – if the pair are unable to mend their broken relationship – the Spanish champions may offload the 26-year-old at the earliest opportunity, according to reports in Madrid.

Though talk of a falling out between Jose Mourinho and Sergio Ramos has subsided of late it appears that Chelsea are hopeful the relationship between the Real Madrid boss and the club’s star defender has been damaged beyond repair as the Blues look to make the most of the situation.
The adaptable 26 year old defender, who can play at full-back and in the centre of defence, may be tempted by a move to the West London club if things do not improve. Real Madrid have started to recover from a shaky start in La Liga but are still some eight points behind arch-rivals Barcelona after just six matches of the season.
Roberto Di Matteo would no doubt love to have the former Sevilla man on hand to beef up his back-line and Roman Abramovich has shown that he is ready to spend big again having forked out over £80m on new players over the summer.
Given that John Terry is getting no younger and David Luiz still appears prone to hot-headed errors, the inclusion of a player of the calibre of Sergio Ramos would clearly be gratefully accepted. Perhaps he would be more likely used at right-back, an area that perhaps lack a player of world-class quality.
Cesar Azpilicueta was signed from Marseille and Branislav Ivanovic can also fill this role but clearly the Real Madrid star would be a big improvement on either of these options.
