Brazilian linked with homeland return.
Spanish source El Confidencial are today reporting that Santos are making plans to lure AC Milan forward Robinho back to Brazil as they prepare for the inevitable sale of youngster Neymar.
Robinho may well feel it’s time to leave the troubled San Siro side as the Rossoneri struggles to cope with the loss of both Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, sold to the highest bidder, in this instance PSG, and a return to Brazil could well tempt the former Man City and Real Madrid attacker.
The 28 year old Brazilian may well be an acceptable replacement to appease Santos fans who may well not take the sale of Neymar all that well. The talented forward stated his career at the Sao Paulo side before leaving for the Bernabeu in 2005 and also returned for a short loan spell in 2010.
Robinho helped AC Milan to a Serie A title in his first season at the club but was less effective last term and could well be sold for the right price.
