Bernabeu side target Anfield and Old Trafford attackers.
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has set his sights on two Premier League attackers as he look to beef up his Bernabeu attack.
Italian source CalcioMercato report that the Spanish giants are interested in Liverpool youngster Suso. The La Liga giants have no doubt been impressed by the performances put in by the Spanish teenager but one would imagine that the Anfield side will fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the attacking midfielder.
The 18 year old has broken into the Liverpool first team under Brendan Rodgers, who seems more than happy to give youngsters at the club a chance to shine in his senior set-up, and has converted his consistent performances in the reserves and NextGen series into solid displays in both the Premier League and in European competition.
Suso moved from Cadiz to Merseyside three years ago and has been capped at Under 19 level and the fear may be that interest from his home nation could tempt the youngster into a possible Liverpool exit.
Perhaps interest from abroad has triggered talk of a new contract, Suso being one of a trio who are apparently set for new deals, the other pair being winger Raheem Sterling and defender Andre Wisdom.
Suso has made four appearances for the first team this season and earned his first Premier League start on the weekend as Liverpool thumped Norwich City 5-2.
TuttoMercato claim that Real Madrid are also interested in Man United striker Javier Hernandez.
The 24 year old Mexican international has found his first team spot in Sir Alex Ferguson’s Man United side severely restricted following the arrival of Dutchman Robin Van Persie and the chance to move on to a club of Real Madrid’s calibre, where he may have a better chance of securing regular starts, may well tempt the speedy striker.
Javier Hernandez has started just two of Man United’s last 11 Premier League matches, those coming in ‘lesser’ matches against Swansea City towards the tail end of last term and a home fixture against Wigan during the current campaign. The Guadalajara born marksman is increasingly failing to gain selection for crunch ties, a sign that Ferguson doesn’t have faith in his abilities.
Sir Alex Ferguson will almost always opt for either Robin Van Persie or Wayne Rooney, or both, for any meaningful fixture, and whilst youngster Danny Welbeck can ply his trade in a wide attacking role Chicharito is simply far more one-dimensional.
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho doesn’t have a wealth of recognised strikers, having to alternate between his two main options of Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain, and the former Blues boss is apparently an admirer of Man United bench warmer Chicharito.
The Bernabeu side have of course procured a number of Man United talents over the years with the likes of David Beckham, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo all making the switch.
While Hernández signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford last October, the Mexican has struggled for form since scoring 20 goals in his debut season at United in 2010-11.
