Check-In to Barcelona v Real Madrid

Italian source CalcioMercato report that Arsenal are interested in signing bright young Belgian hope David Henen, a player dubbed the ‘Belgian Cristiano Ronaldo’.

The 16 year old winger is the latest in a seemingly never ending line of talented Belgians and a player who has also attracted the attention of Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Wenger is reportedly ready to put in a bid for the Luxembourg born teenager who spend three years in Standard Liege’s youth system before moving to Brussels side Anderlecht.

There are already a host of Belgians plying their trade in the Premier League with the likes of Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard, Moussa Dembele, Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and of course Arsenal’s own Thomas Vermaelen all settling in to life in the English top tier.

Arsene Wenger is of course renowned for his ability to make the most of youthful talents and clearly feels that Henen has the potential to be a big success.
