Anfield boss runs out of patience with under-performing players.
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to conduct offload players he feels are not offering enough to warrant a spot in his Anfield squad.
Liverpool picked up their first Premier League win at the sixth attempt with a masterful display at Carrow Road but Rodgers is all too aware that a number of his side are not pulling their weight and that was merely confirmed in the club’s 3-2 home defeat against Udinese in their midweek Europa League encounter.
Therefore four players are reportedly set for the chop.
Jordan Henderson had a woeful first season at Liverpool but was still, for some reason, a regular in Kenny Dalglish’s side. Brendan Rodgers clearly doesn’t feel quite the same way about the £16m addition from Sunderland and as such the young midfielder has played a grand total of just 48 minutes of Premier League football this term.
The arrivals of Nuri Sahin and Joe Allen, two players with far more talent that the England international, and the emergence of winger Raheem Sterling have pushed Henderson way down the pecking order. The Daily Mail believes he will be sold and that he was offered to Fulham in the summer.
