Liverpool Target Move for Dutch International Attacker Jeremain Lens

Anfield side line up bid for PSV Eindhoven forward.

Check-In to Liverpool v Reading

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has taken a keen interest in PSV Eindhoven forward Jeremain Lens and will look to Anfield’s American owners to provide funds for an exploratory bid for the Dutch international.

The 24 year old adaptable attacker is one of the most effective forwards in the Eredivisie and may well be tempted by a move to the Premier League.

Lens is now seeing his club form replicated at international level with his pace and direct attacking intentions scaring the life out of the opposition. The bustling forward has the physique to make it in the English top tier and Rodgers seems intent on bringing the Amsterdam born forward to Merseyside.

Brendan Rodgers may see Jeremain Lens as an option to be used on the flanks where he currently relies on youngsters Raheem Sterling and Suso, both of whom have ably taken on the first team mantle forced upon them on an early basis due to poor form shown by Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson.

PSV may be loathed to lose one of their prized assets but as is seemingly inevitable with any top quality player plying his trade in the Dutch top tier, a move could be hard to prevent but the Eindhoven side will demand a decent sum for the former AZ Alkmaar man.
