Emirates Stadium side refuse to increase contract offer.
Theo Walcott’s future has been plunged into deeper uncertainty after he was excluded from a contract renewal drive.
And the Gunners are preparing to offload the forward in January if a resolution to his contract dispute cannot be found.
Arsenal chiefs have started a concentrated effort to sign a number of their first-team stars to new deals.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Emmanuel Frimpong are all in line for improved contracts, having held recent talks with the club.
But another round of formal talks over fresh terms for Walcott have not begun – casting a huge shadow over his future in north London.

It seems very much like Arsenal have given up on trying to retain the services of England winger Theo Walcott. The North London club offered the 23 year old a £75k a week five year deal in August and though it’s been turned down by the former Southampton there is no sign of an improved offer being in the works.
The fact that Arsenal are now in talks with several other players would seem to indicate that the Gunners are ready to call it quits and look to offload Walcott in January, a preferred option to losing the player on a free transfer in the summer.
Theo Walcott has already been frozen out of first team action, making just one Premier League start all season, and now the ground is set for prospective interested parties to make themselves known and if a decent offer is made then expect Arsenal to offload the wide-man, unless of course the youngster changes tack and accepts the deal that is currently on the table, an embarrassing climb-down he may not be willing to make.
