German source claim that Man City are one of many sides ready to mount a January move to sign unhappy PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi. The former Napoli man has not had the best of starts to life in Ligue 1 and is already being linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes just months after arriving in the French

27 year old Argentine Lavezzi was the first of many high profile signings to arrive at PSG this summer, swiftly followed by the arrivals of Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura and Gregory van der Wiel.

Thus far the talented forward has collected more red cards than goals, having failed to find the back of the net for PSG and struggling to force his way into Carlo Ancelotti’s all conquering table topping side. Injury and average form have played their part in Lavezzi’s poor start to life at the big spending Ligue 1 side and perhaps he is already considering his options.

Man City, Bayern Munich and Juventus are apparently all monitoring the situation, with this source claim that PSG would be willing to listen to offers of around €18m (£14m) for Lavezzi.
