Real Betis Plan January Move to Sign QPR Midfielder Esteban Granero

Loftus Road man wanted by La Liga side.

Check-In to QPR v Reading

La Liga side Real Betis are reportedly readying a move to lure Spanish midfielder Esteban Granero back to La Liga according to Italian source CalcioMercato.

The former Real Madrid man has been impressive since his move to Loftus Road in the summer but has seen QPR start the season poorly and given that the West London side sit bottom of the table without a Premier League win, it may well be plausible that the 25 year old may be interested in a move back to Spain.

QPR spent a club record £9m to sign Granero at the tail end of the summer transfer window and would presumably only consider offers in excess of that they paid, if indeed they are willing to accept any offers at all.

Granero was stagnating on the Bernabeu bench before he made a somewhat surprise move to Loftus Road. Real Betis have started the season strongly and may see the former Spanish Under 21 international as a player who can help their side build on that early success.
