Check-In to West Ham v Man City

TransferMarketWeb today report that West Ham are eyeing up Chelsea youngster Thibaut Courtois.

The Belgian international is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid but is reportedly set for a move back to the Premier League on completion of his season long loan deal, with Chelsea apparently keen on loaning out the 20 year old so that he can gain some experience of playing in the English top tier.

20 year old Courtois has an outstanding first season on loan at Atletico Madrid last term, putting in a raft of consistent displays, keeping 23 clean sheets and helping his Vicente Calderon side to a Europa League title.

Chelsea elected to send the giant 6ft 6in keeper back to the La Liga side for another season and once again he has impressed as Diego Simeone’s start the season like a rocket.

Sam Allardyce offloaded Robert Green over the summer and brought in experienced Finnish international Jussi Jaaskelainen from Bolton and the Hammers boss will hope that Chelsea would be open to loaning Courtois to the Upton Park side.
