After a very average start to the campaign and having seen far too many of his Emirates Stadium squad put in abject displays, it’s time for Arsene Wenger to conduct a major Gunners clear-out.
Brazilian wide-man has been treading water for too long and his display at Old Trafford was one of the worst put in by an Arsenal player in living memory. To top it all off Andre Santos asked for Robin Van Persie’s shirt at half-time!
Kieran Gibbs is a far more reliable left-back weapon and the sooner Arsene Wenger offloads the 29 year old liability the better.
Perhaps a move back to Turkey is in order as over the past two seasons Santos has shown little reason as to why the Gunners boss decided to buy the positionally unaware defender.
Even when used higher up the pitch Andre Santos is unable to make an impact due to the very simple fact that he can not cross a ball to save his life.
