Liberty Stadium side target PSV starlet.

Check-In to Southampton v Swansea City

Swansea City are reportedly interested in up and coming Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum according to VoetbalZone.

Micheal Laudrup invested wisely in the summer transfer window after seeing top performers Joe Allen and Scott Sinclair leave the Liberty Stadium. The likes of Michu, Pablo Hernandez, Ki Sung-Yueng and Chico Flores all making an impact and costing a combined fee of about half that recouped from the sale of the aforementioned pair to Liverpool and Man City respectively.

Wijnaldum is considered by many to be one of the hottest prospects in Dutch football and as such speculation is rife that the 21 year old former Feyenoord man will sooner or later make that inevitable move to away from the Eredivisie.

The adaptable youngster, who can play either on the wing or in a floating attacking midfield role, netted 15 goals in his first season at PSV last term and scored within five minutes of his senior Dutch national team debut.

Laudrup will do well to lure Georgino to the South Wales side and may well see the flair player fit well with his footballing ethos.
