(Video) Substitute Runs On To The Pitch, Prevents a Certain Goal, Sprints Out Of Stadium

This is really cheeky. Really cheeky. This makes Suarez vs Ghana at World Cup 2010 look positively sporting…

We doubt you’ll see a more bizarre football video all week.

In this Argentinian lower-league game between San Martin and Bell Ville, one of the substitutes sprints onto the pitch and prevents a certain goal with a fine acrobatic diving save!

Naturally, the attacking team are outraged but, as the fleeing sub sprints out of the picture to avoid capture, the referee refuses to award the goal – or even a penalty – and instead awards an indirect free-kick from just inside the box.

Needless to say the defensive side get away with it and so, presumably, did the mischievous sub.
