Manchester United Prepare Early Move For Player Considered the Best Young Player In The World

Could this brilliant young talent be on his way to Old Trafford?

Manchester United could make an early move for a player regarded as the finest young talent in Europe – Viktor Fischer.

Ajax forward Fischer, who is 18 years of age, has recently broken into the first team at Amsterdam Arena.

He had already made a considerable impression on many European giants’ scouts with his impressive form during his club’s run to the NextGen Series final – the young player’s equivalent to the UEFA Champions League.

Having been top scorer in last season’s competition, Fischer has the most goals in the current campaign too – despite his increasing involvement in the Ajax first team.

Ajax are well aware of the talent of Viktor Fischer.

Top scorer in both last season’s NextGen Series (with a memorable hat-trick against Liverpool that will likely please Red Devils’ fans) as well as the current competition, Fischer looks set for the top.

Still, whilst those achievements are certainly impressive, far too many players have performed at youth level before failing to make it on the senior stage.

This seems unlikely for Fischer though.

In the 18 year-old’s two starts for Ajax this season, he has two Eredivisie goals, and has certainly demonstrated that he belongs on the pitch alongside his full established team-mates.

Yet another example of the tremendous output of the Ajax academy, Fischer hopes to follow in the footsteps of such luminaries as Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard and Dennis Bergkamp.

For now though, the young Danish star will look up to his compatriot Christian Eriksen in the Ajax team – who is just 20 years old himself.

Manchester United would do well to sign Fischer, but will be wary that he may wish to earn his spurs at the Amsterdam ArenA first.

Thought of as perhaps the best young player in the world already, five years ago Fischer could be talked about in the same way Lionel Messi is now.
