Luiz Felipe Scolari returns as Brazil coach for 2014 World Cup

Luiz Felipe Scolari has been appointed as Brazil manager for a second time.

Scolari replaces Mano Menezes who was dismissed last week and will now lead his country into the 2014 World Cup on home soil.

Of course ‘Big’ Phil Scolari didn’t last all that long at Chelsea, but then who does, but did lead Brazil to a 2002 World Cup triumph in his last spell and spent five years at Portugal national team boss among a plethora of top level positions.

The 64 year old replaces Mano Menezes who spent two years in charge and had a somewhat up and down start and was axed after he had led Brazil to a penalty shoot-out victory over Argentina in the 2012 Superclásico de las Américas.

Tickets still available for top football matches – Real Madrid tickets
