AC Milan are set to make a special request to allow talented youngster Hachim Mastour to play in Serie A aged just 15.
Under current rules, no player under the age of 16 can play in Italy’s top flight, but the Rossoneri are eager to add some creativity to their ranks before the end of the season.
Hachim Mastour must be something special if he is not only good enough for AC Milan to consider for first team activity but so much that they are asking the Italian FA for dispensation to allow the teenager a chance to make his Serie A debut.
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has recently reiterated his commitment to the San Siro side but has stated his desire to plan for the future and hence justified the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to PSG by stating that he would do all he could to keep the club’s younger stars at the club.
Perhaps it’s with this in mind that Massimiliano Allegri is looking to blood youngsters at the earliest opportunity but to bring in a player at the age of 15 is fairly astonishing to say the least.
