Juventus Scout Celtic Striker Gary Hooper Ahead of Possible Bid from Serie A Giants

Turin side target Parkhead forward.

Check-In to Celtic v Ross County

According to Italian source TuttoMercato Juventus have joined a growing list of prospective suitors keen on Celtic forward Gary Hooper.

The Turin side are reportedly scouting the 24 year old Parkhead striker and could launch a move to sign the in-form forward to help beef up their striking options.

Though Antonio Conte’s side have been pretty much unbeatable for the past 18 months they do lack a prolific forward, as evidenced by the fact that last term’s top scorer in Serie A action had just ten goals to his name. The former Scunthorpe United man would surely jump at the chance of a possible move to join the Italian giants.

Hooper scored 22 and 29 goals in his first team seasons at Celtic respectively and has once again netted regularly this term, scoring 14 goals in 25 matches in all competitions, including four whilst on Champions League duty.
