Goalkeeper – Thibaut Courtois: has shown enough potential during his time on loan at Atletico Madrid to be afforded a chance to shine between the sticks.

Left Back – Leighton Baines: The ideal man to take over from veteran Ashley Cole. Industrious in the attack, set piece specialist and solid at the back.

Centre Back – David Luiz: Yes the Brazilian has worked well in a midfield role but with maturity will grow into an exceptional centre-back.

Centre Back – Gary Cahill: Future Blues captain and ready made long term John Terry replacement.

Right Back – Cesar Azpilicueta: Spaniard has looked assured and capable and worthy of a long run as the Blues right-back.

Central Midfield – Ramires: True box to box performer. Makes things happen and has a terrific engine.

Defensive Midfield – Cheick Tiote: Man from Newcastle United should be drafted in to replace John Obi Mikel as first choice ‘enforcer’

Left Wing – Eden Hazard: Has already made an instant impact in the Premier League and a Blues legend in the making.

Righg Wing – Juan Mata: Spaniard is full of the tricks and turns and consistently delivers the goods.

Attaking Midfield – Oscar: Brazilian should adopt a more advanced central midfield role behind the Chelsea frontman.

Striker – Radamel Falcao: Roman Abramovich should pull out all the stops to land the Colombian who can lead Chelsea to major honours both at home and on the continent.
