Moussa Sissoko could make move to Villa Park.
Struggling Aston Villa are set to rival Newcastle United and Sunderland for the signature of Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to the Daily Mirror.
Villa Park manager Paul Lambert is desperate to make a breakthrough in the transfer market as he attempts to get Aston Villa out of the Premier League relegation zone, which they dropped into at the weekend.

And he has been linked with a move for £3million rate midfielder Sissoko, who is set to be sold by French Ligue 1 side Toulouse with just six months of his contract remaining. The French international can also play in defence, an area Villa have particularly struggled with this season have shipped 42 goals – more than any other team in the Premier League.
Sunderland had been strongly linked with a move for Sissoko although the arrival of French under-21 international Alfred N’Diaye and central defender Kader Mangane, a Senegalese internatonal, may well lead to Martin O’Neill ending his interest in the Toulouse man.
Newcastle, however, remain strongly interested with Chekh Tiote absent from Alan Pardew’s squad for the next month while on African Nations Cup duty and the Newcastle boss desperate to halt his side’s miserable run of form.
