Chilean set to complete Stamford Bridge move.
Highly rated Chilean youngsgter Cristian Cuevas said Wednesday he will shortly complete a move to the English top tier to join Chelsea.
Cuevas, an Under-20 international, is currently with O’Higgins in the Chilean domestic league, but he said he will head for Stamford Bridge in June.

“I am very happy. It’s all gone through very quickly. It was sealed this week and I’ll be off in the middle of the year. Chelsea have been after me for more than a year,” Cuevas told talkSPORT, with the 17-year-old adding he had been hoping the move would come about.
Chelsea have reportedly handed the youngster a four-year contract.
The starlet spent time training with the West London club in December an experience he described as “something [he] will never forget… the best experience that [he has] ever had,”.
Clearly the Blues liked what they saw and are set to complete a £3.4m deal to capture the Chilean Under 20 international.
Cuevas will remain at his club in the meantime and is apparently set to join Chelsea in the summer.
One does wonder if Chelsea need to bring in further wide attacking talent given the likes of Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Marko Marin, Kevin De Bruyne and Victor Moses are all available in this role and fairly youthful options to boot.
