Stamford Bridge side offered experienced goal-getter.
Check in to Chelsea vs West Bromwich Albion
Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have offered the services of powerful forward Stefan Kiessling according to the Metro.
The in-form German international is said to be keen on securing a move to the English capital and Leverkusen are apparently only asking for a fee of £6m for the 29 year old, something of a bargain offer given the great form the striker has displayed this term.
The 6ft 3in forward is the Bundesliga’s top scorer with 15 goals in 22 appearances and has scored 101 goals in total of Bayer Leverkusen since moving to the BayArena side in 2006. Kiessling also has six German national team caps to his name.
Kiessling may well offer Chelsea a different striking option to the likes of Demba Ba and Fernando Torres and the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Dynamo Kiev are also said to be keen on the big striker.
Such a move may well be less likely if Chelsea opt to give loaned out forward Romelu Lukaku a chance to prove himself at Stamford Bridge next term, having impressed a great deal during his season long loan spell at West Brom.
