Stamford Bridge side keen on another Benfica raid.
Chelsea are apparently ready to battle Man United in the race to sign Benfica centre-back Ezequiel Garay according to talkSPORT.
The Stamford Bridge side are hoping to strengthen their defence, perhaps with a view to the long term future of John Terry, who hasn’t been as prominent a part of the Blues first team set-up this season as in previous campaigns.
Tickets for the upcoming West London derby are now available. Get tickets to see Chelsea v Fulham at Craven Cottage on March 10th.

The former Real Madrid man is apparently available just so long as any interested party is ready to meet the Portuguese club’s valuation of the 26 year old Argentine international. Any price-tag is sure to be substantial as Garay’s former employers are set to land a decent chunk of any sell on fee.
Chelsea previously did business with Benfica, bringing in both David Luiz and Ramires from the Estadio da Luz side.
Garay has been very impressive since his move to Portugal, successfully resurrecting a career that had stuttered at Real Madrid.
This season he has helped his side to an unbeaten Primeira Liga title challenge and has helped keep things tight at the back. Garay is sure to be interested in a move to either Premier League side this summer.
