Portuguese winger could be set for move to Serie A giants.
Juventus are weighing up a summer move for Manchester United’s Nani according to The Daily Express.
The Portuguese winger has found himself out of favour this season at Manchester United as Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson has become increasingly frustrated with the player’s inconsistent performances.
Nani enjoyed a rare start for United in their Champions League clash against Real Madrid but his performance was marred by a controversial red card by Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir.
The intervention proved to be a turning point as United went on to lose 2-1 despite looking comfortable when the sides were playing eleven against eleven.
Juventus are keen to bring in attacking reinforcements in the summer as Antonio Conte looks to build a side capable of challenging for the Champions League.
They currently lead the Italian top flight, six points ahead of second placed Napoli.
Nani is known for his trickery on the wing but can frustrate and excite in equal measures. That has persuaded Sir Alex Ferguson to look elsewhere for his wide options and he has typically preferred the likes of Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa and Ashley Young to the player this season.
Juventus are likely to face competition for the player’s signature, with big-spending Anzhi Makhachkala also rumoured to be ready to make a move.
