Liverpool are ready to join the race for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama according to The Daily Mail.

Tickets are now available for upcoming Premier League fixtures including Arsenal tickets, Manchester United tickets, Manchester City tickets, Newcastle United tickets, Liverpool FC tickets and Tottenham Hotspur tickets

The Anfield have been monitoring the player’s progress in recent months and are thought to be preparing a summer bid for the player.

Wanyama has been attracting the attention of a host of top European sides after a string of impressive performances for Celtic during their Champions League campaign.

The player was strongly linked with a move away from the club during the January transfer window but manager Neil Lennon persuaded the youngster to stay until the end of the season.

Manchester United and Arsenal have both been touted as possible destinations for the player.

But Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to persuade him to join his revolution at Anfield.

Rodgers is keen to add some tenacity to his midfield and is also attracted to the Kenyan for his ability to fill in at centre-back if necessary.

Wanyama has just a year remaining on his contract with Celtic but the Scottish Premier League side are still thought to be holding out for a fee in the region of £10 million.

That may put off Rodgers, who has been told he will have just £20 million available to him for summer signings.
