Premier League clubs monitoring availabiltiy of Manchester City winger.

Aston Villa and Everton are preparing summer bids for Manchester City’s Scott Sinclair according to The Mirror.

The winger signed for the club last summer from Welsh side Swansea but has failed to establish himself in the Manchester City team.

Sinclair has made just twelve appearances for the club, and nine of those have been from the bench.

Mancini surprised many when he announced the deal last summer with many believing Sinclair lacked the quality to be a useful addition to the Premier League Champions.

Those critics have proven to be correct as the 23-year old has struggled to make an impact.

Everton and Aston Villa are now preparing to offer an escape route from his Etihad nightmare.

It is thought Roberto Mancini will not stand in the player’s way should an offer come in the for the player.

City will be looking to recoup close to the £6 million they paid Swansea for his signature last summer but have acknowledged his value will have decreased slightly after his disappointing season.

Aston Villa are thought to be leading the chase for the player but any potential bid relies on them retaining their Premier League status.

Everton are also keen but must first determine the future of manager David Moyes.
