Black Cats ready to make move for Goodison Park boss if Stadium of Light manager walks.
Sunderland will approach Everton boss David Moyes this summer if they opt to part ways with under-fire Black Cats manager Martin O’Neill according to the Daily Express.

O’Neill has been the subject to a growing level of abuse from some sections of the Stadium of Light supporters and this source believes that the Northern Irishman is ready to leave the club after becoming disillusioned at the club he supported as a child.
Sunderland sit in 15th position in the table, just four points from the drop zone after a poor campaign that has seen the North-East side pick up just two wins in their last 11 matches.
This despite the fact that O’Neill spent handsomely on new additions, with £26m being invested in the purchases of Adam Johnson and Steven Fletcher last summer and another £9m spent in January on Danny Graham and Alfred N’Diaye.
Moyes is yet to put pen to paper on a new Everton contract and with his current deal coming to an end in the summer there is a chance that his 11 year Toffees reign is nearing it’s end.
Sunderland may feel that the Scot can help guide the club away from the relegation zone and up pushing for a Europa League spot, where a club of the Black Cats side should be aiming.
Such a move would of course depend on whether Moyes had other options from ‘bigger’ clubs lined up.
