United winger Nani is on Juventus’ radar.
Italian sports website Tuttosport claim Juventus are looking at signing Manchester United winger Nani, who is likely to leave the club at the end of the season.
The Portuguese winger has fallen out of favour with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after some inconsistent displays for the team this season.
Along with Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, Nani has failed to provide enough goals and assists in this current United side, despite them enjoying a strong season in the Premier League with the free-scoring Robin van Persie proving decisive in their fortunes.
The former Sporting Lisbon attacker’s contract is up in 2014, so it is thought that United will try to shift him at the end of this season to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Juventus might be willing to offer him an escape route, and clearly think he still has enough talent to offer their side, which is expected to win Serie A for the second season in a row.
A winger seems to be a priority for the Italians this summer, and they have already been linked with Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez – another player who has struggled to find his best form at his current club this year.
