5. Luarent Koscielny
Bayern have already been linked with a move for the Arsenal defender, who has not played much this year after a promising breakthrough season in 2011/12. An intelligent reader of the game with an eye for goal, the French centre-back could be a good option for Guardiola’s backline.
4. Sergio Aguero
Aguero has struggled with injuries this season and may make way at City this summer for Edinson Cavani, who is widely tipped to join the club. The Argentine hot-shot has been targeted by Real Madrid, but Guardiola will know the former Atletico Madrid man well from his time in La Liga and could be tempted to bring him to Germany.
3. Santi Cazorla
The skillful Spaniard has enjoyed a great first season with Arsenal, and would fit Guardiola’s style, given his similarities for Barca pair Xavi and Andres Iniesta. Although he has only been with the Gunners for a year, Arsenal don’t have a great track record of keeping their star players in recent years, and Pep knows this better than most, having signed Cesc Fabregas from them during his time at the Nou Camp.

The Uruguayan has enjoyed a stand-out season with Liverpool, and may be tempted away by the lure of Champions League football. Already linked with Bayern, as well as Real Madrid and Manchester City, the in-demand forward would be a great addition to an already-impressive Bayern frontline.
1. Gareth Bale
Bale has long been a target for Guardiola while he was at Barcelona, and the Welshman has now been linked with a move to the Allianz Arena. After arguably his best season at White Hart Lane, Spurs may struggle to reject a number of bids that come their way for their star player this summer. The 23-year-old would certainly be an improvement on Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben on Bayern’s wings.
