Andre Schurrle to Chelsea
Chelsea have chased the German for some time and have failed in two previous bids. Roman Abramovich doesn’t like to lose when it comes to transfer business and is apparently very close to sealing a £20m deal to sign the Bayer Leverkusen man.
One big part of securing such a deal comes in the form of Belgian Kevin De Bruyne and his apparent involvement in a part exchange role that would see Schurrle move to Stamford Bridge.
Given that De Bruyne is yet to play a senior game for Chelsea and the fact that he has greatly enjoyed a loan season in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, one would imagine that the young attacker would jump at the chance of a move the BayArena, especially given that Sami Hyypia’s side are likely to secure a Champions League berth.
Chelsea are apparently already in talks to complete the deal to sign the 21 year old, who can play in a number of attacking positions.
