Borja Valero back in demand.
Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero has said that he will weigh up his options this summer as interest in his services amounts from the Premier League, talkSPORT reports.
The 28-year-old endured a difficult three year spell with West Bromwich Albion has seen his stock rise again following successful stints with Villarreal and Fiorentina.
A number of Premier League sides have been credited with an interest in bringing him back to England with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all said to be keeping an eye on him.
Fiorentina close their domestic campaign this weekend with hopes of still qualifying for the Champions League and the Spanish international has insisted that that is his primary focus and only then will he consider what his options are.
Valero’s agent, Alejandro Camano said; “I think after a season like the one Borja Valero has had it is pleasing for everyone. Now, however, the priority is the championship race,”
“There is still one match left with Fiorentina just two points behind AC Milan. Maximum concentration must be on the last match.
“I think now it is premature to talk about it (Valero’s future). Situations change quickly in the market. Now we need this season finale and then we’ll see.”
