Atletico striker rubbishes Monaco Claims.
In the latest twist in the future of Radamel Falcao, the striker has denied reports that he is set to join French side Monaco and has insisted that he is just as in the dark as everybody else, according to Sky Sports.
News broke last week that the 27-year-old would be on his way to the Ligue 1 newcomers in a £45 million deal. Real Madrid and Chelsea have also been heavily linked, though no agreement with either of the sides has been reached, rumours of a secret meeting between the player and the West London club have been rife.
However, the Colombian powerhouse has put an end to the speculation linking him with the French side and claims that he is only concerned with this week’s Copa Del Rey final encounter with city rivals Real.
“I don’t know anything, and the only thing that I have in my mind and keep concentration is on Atletico Madrid,” he said.
“I don’t know anything. I keep myself apart of what is being said. If it was for the press, I have already been transferred to all the teams in Europe, like Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United.”
“I don’t find true any news that is being said about me.”
He added: “The only real thing is that I am under contract until 2016, all the rest is only speculation. I don’t know anything about Monaco. I have my mind focused where I am.”
